About Me

From disposable cameras in my early years to my days as a professional photographer now, I've always been one for carrying a camera around and photographing everything. But, it wasn't until so much of life passed me by, loved ones were lost, and so many moments had come and gone that I realized the true impact of photographs. Unfortunately, a decent portion of my life was left undocumented, moments that only exist in my mind are all I have left to treasure, and I vowed that I'd never let that happen to my couples, especially on one of the most important days of their lives.

In my every day life, I would describe myself as an equal amount of type
A and type B personalities - which I attribute to my success as a wedding photographer. I love organization, planning everything down to the minute, and thinking through back up plans, but I also love and honor flexibility and spontaneity and can constantly keep my cool even on the brink of stress while pivoting to go with the flow - it's really wild at how much of a great combination of the two I am.

Outside of photographing my sweet couples, I'm a wife to my amazing husband, Dusty, and mom to an energetic 5 year old boy and our black lab, Gumbo. I love watching movies with my family, spending time with close friends, cozying up at home in a blanket, baking yummy treats or cooking healthy meals, but some of my biggest passions are adventuring, camping, and hiking.

I'm national park obsessed and love to push the limits when it comes to travel (aka, I HUSTLE on my vacations haha). The last national park trip I took with Dusty, we drove about 26 hours in 3 days, I cut insulation for the car windows when we got to our campsite at 5pm after 12 hours of driving and detouring around an ice storm. For two nights, we slept in the front seats of the car and woke up at 4am each morning to head out on our hikes and meet with my amazing couples to get stunning photos. I will make every minute count if I'm traveling/adventuring - I truly love it and never get sick of non-stop adventuring.

In addition to capturing couples in love, I also work with brands within the beauty and outdoor/adventure industries and love every minute of it!
